Open to collegiate students and faculty, EnergyTech UP fosters the next wave of energy innovators, accelerating the journey of energy technologies from lab to market.
Participants develop business plans leveraging high-potential energy technologies from National Labs or other sources, presenting their proposals at regional events before advancing to the final pitch at Zpryme's 2024 Energy Thought Summit. Mentorship, DOE resources, and access to the Energy I-Corps curriculum guide teams, nurturing their commercialization and entrepreneurial skills.
New in 2024, the Faculty Track invites collegiate educators to integrate energy technology commercialization and entrepreneurship into their institutions. Competing for a share of $100,000, faculty members receive DOE mentorship to foster energy innovation in their academic communities.
